about our hospital
Welcome to Seddon Vet Hospital. Established in October 2011, we are a proudly independent, locally owned and operated practice dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to our inner-west community.
From our state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility, we proudly serve pets and their families across Footscray, Seddon, Yarraville, Kingsville, Maribyrnong, Maidstone, West Footscray, Flemington, and the surrounding suburbs.
Clinical Excellence & Advanced Diagnostics.
We believe that high-quality medicine requires advanced technology. Our hospital is equipped with premier diagnostic and surgical equipment, including digital standard radiography, specialized dental X-ray facilities, and advanced ultrasound technology. This allows our team to provide accurate, rapid diagnoses and precise treatment planning entirely on-site.
An Experienced, Dedicated Team.
Our veterinary team—comprising Dr Russell Croser, Dr Shelley McColl, Dr Fiona Smith, Dr Hayley Chorazy, Dr Celine Chin, Dr Mimi Morgan, Dr Melina Wilson and Dr Nicola Woodward—brings together decades of combined clinical experience in veterinary medicine and surgery. Complementing our clinical team is our Practice Manager, Gabby Johnson, who brings over 35 years of specialized expertise in veterinary hospital management.
Our nursing and reception staff, Bianca, Amelia, Lauren, Brooke, Caitlin, Lisa and Liv are highly trained, compassionate professionals who treat every patient as if they were their own.
As a team, we are deeply committed to continuing education, ensuring our clinical knowledge and skills remain at the forefront of modern veterinary medicine.
Our Philosophy: Advocacy & Education.
We chose to build our own independent practice with a clear vision: to deliver a more personalized, compassionate, and family-oriented service.
We are passionate advocates for our patients. Our mission is to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine and surgery while focusing heavily on client communication. We believe in empowering and educating pet owners, giving you the knowledge and confidence to make the best decisions for your pet’s lifelong health.
We love what we do, and we look forward to welcoming you and your companions to our practice.

Interested in all fields of small animal medicine, mostly she works hard to ensure that the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to all her cases are communicated in such a way that clients can feel comfortable knowing what should happen next and what each test result will mean.
At home she is kept busy by a couple of teenagers, two guinea pigs, some goldfish in the pond and lots of bicycles to ride as well as a huge number of craft and sewing projects.
