Our hospital comes with some of the latest equipment in the industry.

In April of 2011 the building began its transformation from an empty shell into a fully equipped hospital. Six months later we had a lovely new place for us to provide high level care to our patients.

prep area & laboratory

The Prep area is for dentals and other non-sterile procedures.

The recovery cages allow us to keep a closer eye on animals after surgery since this is the room we spend the most time in. The laboratory area allows to perform blood and urine tests and examine samples on slides to get results quickly and accurately with our full suite of IDEXX blood machines.

The surgery suite is a designated area for sterile surgeries.

We perform everything in here from routine procedures, like desexings,  through to more complex surgeries such as spleen removals, bladder stone extractions and cruciate repairs on knees, to name a few.

x-ray and ultrasound

We have a powerful digital x-ray machine which allows us to take multiple views of any size animal quickly and have a result within a few seconds.

As of December 2018, we also have a dental xray machine giving us the ability to take high resolution dental images.

This new tool is a valuable addition to our services as it helps make decisions about the necessity of tooth removals. We can also use it to get great images of extremities, like toes and noses.

The ultrasound is an invaluable tool for non-invasive diagnostic imaging. We use it most frequently for abdominal examination of organs such as the liver, kidneys, pancreas and spleen. It is helpful, also, when we need sterile urine samples.
